Who we are
BHAS (UK) Bengali Hindu Adarsha Sangha , aims to nurture a sense of Hindu identity amongst those UK residents who have a deep connection with India (Bharat-varsha), the religion of Hinduism and Bengali language. We believe that identity is the anchor which allows human beings to navigate life with a sense of purpose while striving to build a family life and society.
“Sanskriti’ , ‘Sewa’, and Sangathan are three core Hindu values, which are our guiding principles of BHAS (UK).
Our organisations goal is to have presence in most of cities wherever there is Bengali Hindu populations. Each chapter will perform regular (weekly/Monthly etc.) family activities like Hindu value based Bengali Language classes, Sloka, Yoga, Games, Value based stories of Bengali Icons like Swami Vivekananda, Rabindra Nath Thakur, Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose, which will promote Bengali Hindu cultural values to our next generations as well as all families.
Our members will also work with social media, local politicians, media and all other innovative means to highlight Human Right violations against Bengali Hindus Globally.
